CHAPTER #1:

I was a 4 year-old little girl. My parents were divorced when I was one, so I lived with my mom. We were in summer, so my mom and I decided to go to The Bahamas. I was so excited. To being in the beach.. making sandcastles… J Well I didn't really know where The Bahamas really were, but I knew that there were lots of sand.  Mom told me that she came here with her bff often and how they just lay on the beach and how the sun was shining at the sky.

My mom rested a house near the beach. It was beautiful. The first day, we put our things on the wardrobe and we take the beach stuff. We went to the beach. My mom and I took off the clothes and then I ran at the beach and fell in the sand. It was soft and hot. My mom took an umbrella and put it into the sand. Then, we ran to the water like never before. The water was so cold but the sun was shining so bright, so it didn't matter.

My mom started to wet me. She tickled me. Then I ran into the sea and I wet her completely. I started to laugh:

Mom: Megan! You better run, darling!

Me: Noo, hahahah -I said with a malevolent smile.

Mom: Really? Ok then.. I'll take you and I'll make you tickle -said while she winked me.

Me: Aaaaaaa! -I said while I was running to anywhere.

I ran and ran and ran. Suddenly I hit with someone. We both fell in the water.

Me: Are you okay?- I asked the boy a bit guilty.

Justin: Yeah, I think so- answered me with a smile.

I was shy. I didn't know what to do.

Justin: My name is Justin. What's yours?

Me: Me, Megan- I smiled at him a bit flushed.

Then I could observe the boy. He was handsome. I looked right into his eyes. He had big caramel-colored eyes. The most beautiful eyes I have never seen. He smiled at me. What stood out about him was his smile, it was so beautiful. He had short medium-blonde hair. It was all wet. His lips were a bit full, but very funny. For that moment I knew that we are gonna be best friends forever.

I was lost in his eyes. Suddenly, I hear a familiar voice. She was my mom.

Mom: Hun. Are you okay? Where were you?- asked mom a bit worried.

Me: Yeah, I'm fine. I've already met Justin  =).

I looked at Justin and I smiled. My mom smiled too.

Mom: Oh, so.  Hi Justin.  Nice to meet you,  hun-said giving him a smile.

Justin: Hey Megan's mom! Your daughter is so friendly.

He looked at me and he held my hand.

Justin: Do you wanna come to make sandcastles with me?- said euphoric

Me: Yeeeeahh- I said laughing.

We ran to the beach holding each other hands. I was so happy. I met a new friend. Then, we arrived to a towel. There was a woman reading a book. I supposed she was his mom. When she saw us, she gave us a smile. We started to shovel the sand and pile it up for a tower. My mom came to see what we were doing. The sand flew everywhere and we were just laughing.

Pattie: Aww! The kids look like they're having fun. Justin is so happy..

Janet: Yeah, Megan too.

Suddenly they see each other's face.

Pattie: W-w-wait... oh my gosh..you..i know.. you.

Janet: Y-y-yeah.. i know you too.. you're..

Both: My best friend.

Pattie: Oh my gosh, Janet, how long! =)

Janet: Oh yes, since we were in the High School.. how are you?

Justin’s mom and my mom looked like friends. We were playing with the sand. Making sandcastles.  I've never enjoyed as much as with Justin. Then...

Justin: We'll be best friends forever.

Me: Promise?

Justin came near me and he kissed me in the cheek. Aww. I was getting red. Moms were making different faces and smiled at the camera. I thought that was kinda weird if they didn't know each other. Oh well, I wanted to be in photos too. So Justin and I went there too and smiled at the camera. After that we continued making sandcastles. When I looked at Justin he smiled back. We played at the sand till sun was going down and our mother's came to say that it was time to go. We looked each other last time and left.
